EMMA: Extensible Mammalian Modular Assembly Toolkit
(Kit #
1000000119
)
Depositing Lab: Yizhi Cai
The EMMA (extensible mammalian modular assembly) Toolkit contains a set of assembly connectors, a receiver vector, and a set of standardized genetic parts that can be used for the construction of a variety of mammalian expression vectors in a one-pot, one-step Golden Gate reaction. EMMA is compatible with automated production and provides new opportunities for mammalian synthetic biology.
This kit will be shipped as bacterial glycerol stocks in 96-well plate format.

Description
The EMMA Toolkit contains a set of assembly connectors, a receiver vector, and a set of standardized genetic parts that can be used for the construction of a variety of mammalian expression vectors in a one-pot, one-step Golden Gate reaction. Vectors for transient and stable transfections can be designed joining the functional modules of the EMMA platform using procedures described in the paper. The toolkit also provides a set of part-entry vectors that can be used to easily standardize new genetic elements and therefore expand the library of genetic parts.
EMMA is compatible with automated production and provides new opportunities for mammalian synthetic biology.

- Resistance Color Key
Each circle corresponds to a specific antibiotic resistance in the kit plate map wells.
- Inventory
Searchable and sortable table of all plasmids in kit. The Well column lists the plasmid well location in its plate. The Plasmid column links to a plasmid's individual web page.
- Kit Plate Map
96-well plate map for plasmid layout. Hovering over a well reveals the plasmid name, while clicking on a well opens the plasmid page.
