Fungal Toolkit for Modular Cloning (FTK)
(Kit # 1000000191 )

Depositing Lab:   Arnold Driessen

The Fungal Toolkit for Modular Cloning consists of 96 genetic parts as Modular Cloning-compatible entry vectors, including synthetic and native fungal promoters, terminators, selection markers, various CDSs for transcriptional activation and DNA-binding domains, fluorescent reporters, and the AMA1 sequence for fungal autonomous replication as well as CRISPR components such as Cas9, dCas9 sequences, and single guide RNA (sgRNA) transcription units for filamentous fungi.

This kit will be sent as bacterial glycerol stocks in 96-well plate format.

List of vectors in the Fungal Toolkit for Modular Cloning. Also shows transcriptional units and additional units, promoters, coding sequences, and terminators.
  • List of vectors in the Fungal Toolkit for Modular Cloning (FTK).

  • (a) Location of genetic parts in a transcription unit with their corresponding linker sequences.

  • (b) List of parts of the toolkit, containing promoters (P1), UASs (P2), UAS-compatible core promoters (P3), coding sequences with various fusion possibilities (CDS1–5), terminators (T1), complete transcription units (TUs), and additional vectors (sgRNA transcription units, flanking sequences, and AMA1 vectors).

  • Abbreviations (Pc, An, Ania, Ao, Sc) indicate the origin of the template (P. rubens, A. niger, A. nidulans, A. oryzae, S. cerevisiae, respectively).
