Depositor Comments
IMPORTANT NOTE: Even though there is a partial AmpR gene noted on the map, this plasmid is NOT known to confer Amp resistance. The CAT gene is the first ORF (270-920) and the Matsumura lab has only used Chloramphenicol for selection. The backbone, pNW33N, was not engineered by the depositing lab and the sequence they present here is theoretical. Though there are discrepancies between Addgene's quality control sequence and the assembled sequence from the depositor, the plasmid should function as described.
These plasmids were created by your colleagues. Please acknowledge the Principal Investigator, cite the article in which the plasmids were described, and include Addgene in the Materials and Methods of your future publications.
