Addgene diagnostic digest
This gel depicts the NEB 1kb ladder and a digestion of the plasmid with the following enzyme(s): BanII and SmaI.
We expected the following band sizes for this digest:
BanII--2.7kb, 1.3kb, 1kb, 460bp, and one 11bp band run of the gel
SmaI--2.7kb, 1.4kb, 1.1kb, .4kb, + two 11bp bands run off the gel
The expected pattern for SmaI looks fine. The 1kb band for the BanII digest looks a bit smaller than expected. Addgene believes this discrepancy is due to a small error in the assembled sequence. Our stock has been used successfully in publications and is expected to function as reported.
