Depositor Comments
The mutations occur on one essential cysteine in each of the two zinc fingers, leading to complete loss of AR DNA binding capacity.
Please Note: This plasmid contains a 6x Gln deletion in the 23x Gln track and a 8x Gly deletion in the 23x Gly track in androgen receptor compared to the depositor's provided sequence. These differences are not known to affect the function of the protein.
These plasmids were created by your colleagues. Please acknowledge the Principal Investigator, cite the article in which the plasmids were described, and include Addgene in the Materials and Methods of your future publications.
