- Unknown
- Size
- 5300
- Notes
- SVHB-3 was constructed by digesting SVAM191 (ATCC 39631, 40103) with HaeII and religating the large fragment, removing pBR322 sequences. Remaining sequences include hepatitis B virus from 1437 to 28 and SV40 virus from 2468 to 767. Vector-transfected cells produce a SV40 VP2-xAG fusion protein lacking the first 22 amino acids of the X protein. Cloning into the BamHI site (downstream) of HBxAg produces a larger fusion protein which can be detected by assaying for HBxAg. SVHBV-3 is available as depositor-supplied DNA (ATCC 40102) or transfected with SV40 tsA239 helper virus into BSC-1 (ATCC CCL 26) as ATCC VR-2084. Distributed in aliquots of 30 ng (3 ul). (ATCC staff) Hosts: eukaryote cells, eukaryote BS-C-1 cell line [ATCC CCL 26]. (Information source: VectorDB ( http://seq.yeastgenome.org/vectordb ).)
