  • Purpose

    These Drosophila cell CRISPR pooled libraries have been separated into three distinct, enriched sub-pools.

    Group 1 (#134582) has 8x coverage of kinases, phosphatases, and Drosophila gene orthologs of drug targets.

    Group 2 (#134583) has 6x coverage of vertebrate gene orthologs which have undergone expansion in vertebrates and may contain paralogs.

    Group 3 (#134584) has 6x coverage of all other genes.

    The backbone plasmid used to generate this library contains bacterial site-specific integration sites, intended for use in compatible Drosophila cell lines. This design allows for scalable, long-term delivery of single guide RNAs.

Each library is delivered as suspended DNA in a microcentrifuge tube on blue ice. The tube's contents will not necessarily be frozen. For best results, minimize freeze/thaws.

Group 1: Kinases/phosphatases (7,956 sgRNAs for 995 genes), Group 2: 1-fly-to-many-human (17,827 sgRNAs for 2,979 genes), Group 3: All other genes (59,406 sgRNAs for 9,954 genes). Below this information, an illustration shows a group of cells being transformed with a set of plasmids containing different colored insert genes with recombination at two attP sites on genomic DNA, resulting in the group of cells each having a different color.
