Advanced Catalogue of Epigenetic Regulators (ACER)
(Pooled Library #226117)

  • Purpose

The Advanced Catalogue of Epigenetic Regulators (ACER) library consists 748 traditional and newly predicted epigenetic regulators using epigenetic network analyses that integrated publicly available gene codependency (DepMap) and protein-protein interaction data (BioPlex). It allows scientists to study how different epigenetic proteins influence gene activity and contribute to diseases. Scientists can utilize this library to discover the contributions of specific epigenetic regulators in gene expression, chromatin dynamics, and disease mechanisms, facilitating the identification of novel therapeutic targets.

  • Vector Backbone

    LRG2.1_Neo (Plasmid #125593) - does not express Cas9

Depositor Comments

The schematic is shown as a flow chart, starting with 333 classic epigenetic modulators and adds the interactions and co-dependency genes to end with the 758 extended epigenetic regulators.
Figure 1: Schematic of ACER library design. Classical epigenetic modulators (n=333) were extended by including their 343 interactors from the Bioplex Interactome and 102 co-dependency genes from DepMap dataset, resulting in a collection of 758 epigenetic regulator genes (from Zhou et al., 2024).
