Superti-Furga Human SLC Overexpression Library
(Pooled Library #213694)
-
Purpose
The library can be used to test the impact of SLC transporters on biological processes. Since it is an overexpression library with around 450 codon-optimized cDNAs, it is suitable for medium-throughput approaches and cell systems where the number of cells cannot easily be scaled up. The library is inducible, allowing for the use of uninduced cell pools as controls, instead of the plasmid library. The barcodes are associated with Unique Molecular Identifiers (UMIs) to allow tracking of individual clones.

Depositor Comments
The Superti-Furga lab used a simple workflow on Galaxy (Link opens in a new window) that is available from the lab upon request. However, the exact parameters will depend on the sequencing mode so it cannot be applied by default.
These pooled libraries were created by your colleagues. Please acknowledge the Principal Investigator, cite the article in which the plasmids were described, and include Addgene in the Materials and Methods of your future publications.
