The Netherlands Cancer Institute-Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital (NKI-AVL), founded in 1913 and based in Amsterdam, is an independent comprehensive cancer center, combining world-class fundamental, translational, and clinical research with dedicated patient care. They believe that cancer does not need to be a deadly disease. Their researchers and doctors are highly motivated to make this vision a reality by unraveling the biology of cancer, and using this knowledge to improve the prospects of cancer patients.
