Joint Universal Modular Plasmids (JUMP) is a universal vector for Modular Cloning (Golden Gate) assembly. JUMP is a flexible platform based on Standard European Vector Architecture (SEVA), compatible with PhytoBricks and BioBricks (and the Registry of Standard Biological Parts). The toolkit includes vectors with four selection markers, ten origins of replication (integrative and episomal with diverse copy number), and a collection of microbial basic parts. To allow tailored modification, all vectors can be modified using modular cloning in an orthogonal way using multiple cloning sites. This allows researchers to introduce any feature into any JUMP vector and simplifies the Design-Build-Test cycle of synthetic biology.
