Addgene distributes ready-to-use recombinant antibodies. These monoclonal antibodies undergo application-specific validation and quality control by Addgene as well as by our trusted partner labs. On this page you will find all the antibodies currently available from our catalog.
Addgene values transparency and accessibility in research. For each antibody, we provide important details including the protein and plasmid sequence, the antigen sequence, and cross-species reactivity. Reactivity is based on validation data from Addgene or trusted partner labs or is predicted based on sequence homology with the antigen. Addgene supplies a list of recommended applications based on our in-house testing and data provided by trusted outside labs – with full experimental details in the Antibody Applications section of our product pages. We also include negative results when an antibody’s use is not recommended for an application or species. We currently assess western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry. Addgene will continue to work with both depositing and recipient scientists to further develop and refine these application lists. The plasmids we use to produce antibodies are available as part of Addgene’s larger Antibody Plasmid Collection, which also includes other types of affinity reagents such as scFvs, DARPins, Fabs, and secondary antibodies. To learn more about antibodies and their use, visit our Antibody Guide.
Browse or search the table below or visit the following pages to find antibodies in our curated collections:
- Tags and Other Markers: Antibodies targeting popular markers like tubulin or epitope tags like Myc, GFP, and more.
- Neuroscience: Antibodies targeting proteins for neuroscience research.
- Institute for Protein Innovation Collection: Antibodies to highly conserved proteins and other difficult-to-target antigens that are intractable via animal immunization.
Addgene's antibody catalog is a community resource that is growing! We welcome your feedback and suggestions for new antibodies to add to the collection using our Antibody Suggestion Form.
