Addgene Diagnostic Digest
This gel depicts the NEB 1kb extended ladder and a digestion of the plasmid pPKm-230 with the following enzymes: BamHI-HF and MluI-HF.
Expected Bands:
BamHI-HF:12.2 kb
BamHI-HF/ MluI-HF:8.4 kb + 3.8 kb
The correct band sizes are present, but the plasmid is also significantly recombined due to propagation in bacteria. Note that we recommend screening at least 3-5 small colonies from the original stab immediately upon receipt.
