Alexandrov Cell-Free Protein Expression Kit (PEK)
(Kit #
1000000065
)
Depositing Lab: Kirill Alexandrov
This collection contains a set of 91 plasmids: 2 empty backbone control plasmids (pLTE EGFP and pCellFree_G03) and 89 open reading frames cloned into the pCellFree vector, which enables protein expression in any in vitro translation system.
This kit will be sent as bacterial glycerol stocks in 96-well plate format.

Description
The Alexandrov Cell-Free Protein Expression kit represents a set of 89 open reading frames cloned into the pCellFree vector, which enables protein expression in any in vitro translation system. The gene set was carefully chosen to perform statistically relevant benchmarking of cell-free expression systems. The set of proteins encoded is one of the most popular ones in the biomedical research community and range in size form 4 to 156 kDa, which enables the user to characterize the efficiency of their cell-free system in correlation to the size of the product. The analysis can be conveniently performed using the N-terminal eGFP tag carried by all constructs.
Please note that Well-G6 is a duplicate of Well-G5. Both Wells contain plasmid pCellFree_G03 STAT3.

Each circle corresponds to a specific antibiotic resistance in the kit plate map wells.
- Inventory
Searchable and sortable table of all plasmids in kit. The Well column lists the plasmid well location in its plate. The Plasmid column links to a plasmid's individual web page.
- Kit Plate Map
