pDEST-ORF-V1 Notes
Addgene Diagnostic Digest
This gel depicts the NEB 1kb ladder and a digestion of the plasmid pDEST-ORF-V1 with the following enzymes: BglII, KpnI-HF, and SmaI.
We expected the following results for the linearized plasmid:
BglII: 2 bands 3616bp and 1823bp
KpnI/SmaI: 2 bands 4101bp and 1338bp
Based on this gel, we see the expected results provided the ~2.5 kb & ~5 kb faint bands present in all lanes represent uncut plasmid.
