Amplified gene from pWS7-13-2 [described in WJ Song & S Jackowski (1992) J. Bacteriol. 174: 6411 (PMID 1328157)]. Cloning described as blunt ligation of blunted panK fragment (AcyI/PstI) into blunted BamHI cut pET15b. The "restriction sites" described as used for cloning (NdeI-BamHI) are unique in the plasmid.
