Depositor Comments
Stable replicating, multi copy shuttle vector for inducible gene expression (allowing translational fusion to N-terminal or C-terminal His-tag) in Streptomyces and E. coli. The T7 promoter requires specific host strains (eg. BL21 or S. lividans T7), providing the T7-polymerase. The vector has temperature sensitive replication (G. Muth, B. Nußbaumer, W. Wohlleben and A. Pühler (1989) A vector system with temperature-sensitive replication for gene disruption and mutational cloning in streptomycetes. Mol. Gen. Genet. 219, 341-348 )
