Modifications to backbonepCVD315 is a derivative of the promoter-screening vector pKO-1 in which bases 1 through 311 have been replaced with the multiple cloning region of M13mpl9RF plus bases 29 through 185 of pBR322. Additional manipulations removed the PstI and AccI restriction sites located outside of the multiple cloning region.
