Growth instructionsBacteria are better induced for dsRed after O/N in minimum medium (MgMES medium is ideal: 170mM 2-[N-morpholino]ethane-sulphonic acid at pH 5.0, 5 mM KCl, 7.5 mM (NH4)2SO4, 0.5 mM K2SO4, 1 mM KH2PO4, 10 mM MgCl2, 38 mM glycerol and 0.1% casamino acids (adapted from Beuzone et al., 1999)) in presence of arabinose (0.2% w/v). GFP induced by IPTG 0.5 mM.
