Addgene diagnostic digest
This digest confirms the absence of the ~1.1kb M.EcoT22I module from Plasmid 58494. Absence of this module removes an EcoRI site. The following gel depicts the NEB 1kb ladder and a digestion of the plasmid with the following enzymes: EcoRI and PstI. We expect PstI to produce the following bands: 8kb (insert) and 8.4kb (backbone), which run as a doublet. EcoRI should produce 4 bands. We see the expected patterns.
