cAkt3-HA (pcDNA3.1) provided by Dr Richard Roth, Department of Chemical and Systems Biology, Stanford University.
cAkt3 was fused with a Gag polypeptide and lacks the pleckstrin homology (PH) domain; the expression of a myristoylation signal enables Akt3 protein to attach to the cell membrane and become constitutively phosphorylated, thus activated (Aimee 1996).
