Depositor Comments
Note that this plasmid has a few differences from the Entrez Genbank reference sequence for Drosophila 5-HT1A. It was cloned from transgenic fly that has UAS-d5-HT1A (Bloomington #27630) and can be considered a functional variant.
Plasmid can be directly used for expression in HEK cells. Insert cloned into the NotI and XhoI sites. Has a vertebrate Kozak sequence (GCCACC) immediately upstream of the ATG.
These plasmids were created by your colleagues. Please acknowledge the Principal Investigator, cite the article in which the plasmids were described, and include Addgene in the Materials and Methods of your future publications.
