This gel depicts the NEB 1kb ladder and a digestion of the plasmid ePop with the following enzymes: EcoRI-HF and BamHI-HF.
Expected Bands
EcoRI-HF: 4.2 kb
EcoRI-HF/ BamHI-HF: 3.4 kb + 0.8 kb
We see the expected bands but also some unexpected smaller bands. Plasmid is likely unstable necessitating screening of multiple colonies upon receipt.
