This plasmid encodes a nuclear-targeted EGFP reporter under the control of the regulatory elements in the 5' upstream and intronic regions of the glial-specific zebrafish gene glial fibrillary acid protein (gfap). It can be injected into zebrafish embryos to create germline transgenics.
