Depositor Comments

The GPIba insert in the plasmid was cloned from chicken blood plasma.

Please note that Addgene's sequencing results differ from the depositing laboratory's predicted sequence and GenBank's predicted sequence XM_003642839. When compared to XP_003642887.1, the FLAG tag appears to be inserted at aa25, aa58-83 appear to be missing along with a few other mutations relative to the predicted reference sequence. The insertion of the FLAG tag was based on the signal peptide predictions for GPIba and the construct has been tested functionally for proper surface expression of the protein by the depositing lab.
