There is a splice site in the DNA to make a truncated Lg T (348bp), as well as a full length small T, both tagged at N-terminal end.
The small and Lg T seqences overlap for the first 242 bp. (genome entry, BKV, strain UT: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nucleotide/83415612?report=genbank&log$=nuclalign&blast_rank=4&RID=53X3T5WA016 )
Both proteins are seen when this construct is expressed in cells.
