Addgene Diagnostic Digest
This gel depicts the NEB 1kb ladder and a digestion of the plasmid 37402 with the following enzymes: EcoRI-HF and NcoI-HF
Expected results:
EcoRI-HF - 4.5kb + 0.7kb
NcoI-HF - 3.3kb + 1.9kb
These results match the expected pattern except for the extra low molecular weight band in the NcoI digest. This band likely results from recombination between the lox sites, removing the ZsGreen ORF, in a subpopulation of cells. We recommend screening several individual colonies prior to storing the plasmid.
