Backbone

  • Vector backbone
    pRS 316
  • Modifications to backbone
Transformed E.coli cells are resistant to ampicillin. The plasmid contains the hph gene from Klebsiella pneumoniae encoding hygromycin B phosphotransferase and confers resistance to the antibiotic hygromycin B of transformed yeasts. In contrast to pAG32 and pAG34 this plasmid contains the elements to maintain the centromeric plasmid. Transformation marker is the URA3 gene.
  • Vector type
