This gel depicts the NEB 1kb DNA ladder and a digestion of plasmid 28170 with BamHI-HF and SalI-HF.
We expected and saw the following banding patterns:
BamHI-HF single digest: 1 band: 4.3kb
BamHI-HF / SalI-HF double digest:2 bands: 3 and 1.3kb
