Depositor Comments
For construction of this cDNA library, double-stranded cDNA was synthesized with SuperScriptII RT and DNA polymerase I and ligated to adapters containing a SalI restriction site (GIBCO/BRL). To remove residual adapters and enrich for full-length fragments, cDNA was first size-fractionated by column chromatography and then ligated to predigested pSportI vector (GIBCO/BRL). Transformation of DH5α with the ligated DNA yielded a plasmid library with approximately 8.8 x 104 colony-forming units.
Note: Addgene has sequenced part of this library. See the Addgene Data link above for more information.
These pooled libraries were created by your colleagues. Please acknowledge the Principal Investigator, cite the article in which the plasmids were described, and include Addgene in the Materials and Methods of your future publications.
