Depositor Comments

The AAV2 backbone containing the 1.1-kb CMV enhancer/chicken h-actin (CBA) promoter, the woodchuck post-transcriptional regulatory element (WPRE), and the bovine growth hormone polyA was derived from a plasmid made by Matthias Klugmann (Mol. Cell. Neurosci. 2005, 28:343-360 https://doi.org/10.1016/j.mcn.2004.10.002)

The Flex cassette was introduced by Andrew Murray (Nat. Neurosci. 2011 Mar;14(3):297-9. doi: 10.1038/nn.2751).

The Gi-coupled hM4D DREADD fused with mCherry was derived from Addgene plasmid #44362 using the NheI and AscI restriction enzymes and cloned into the EcoRI (filled-in) and SpeI restriction sites of the empty pAM-Flex vector, thus destroying the SpeI restriction site while preserving the EcoRI site.
