Depositor Comments
The Ste3 promoter sequence (500 bprs upstream of the Ste3 ATG) was amplified from chromosomal DNA extracts using primers containing restriction enzyme adaptors for XhoI and XbaI. The pRS415-TEF1pr-Ste3-GFP plasmid was then digested with XhoI/XbaI to remove the TEF1 promoter and the Ste3 promoter sequences was ligated into its place.
