Depositor Comments
Expresses the I-WcaI homing endonuclease from Wickerhamomyces canadensis. The sequence is codon optimized for expression in E. coli. The expressed protein contains a K226I mutation that results in DNA nicking activity. It contains an amino-terminal histidine tag for purification.
