This plasmid requires a pir+ strain for growth and transformation. It will be distributed in MFDpir E. coli. MFDpir strain is auxotrophic for DAP (diaminopimelic acid), so it must be added to the media to grow and extract the plasmid (0.3 mM working concentration).
