pSL1-E2C
(Plasmid
#180421)
-
PurposeKan resistant plasmid derived from pBTK402, a broad-host-range plasmid previously shown to replicate in multiple species of bee gut bacteria. It encodes an E2 Crimson promoter.

A portion of this plasmid was derived from a plasmid made byplasmid pSL1 was built by replacing the RFP dropout in pBTK402 (Addgene plasmid # 110598) with the E1010 Red Chromprotein gene from part BBa_E1010 from the iGem registry. plasmid pSL1-E2C replaces E1010 with E2-Crimson from plasmid pBTK570 (Addgene plasmid # 110615).

Depositor Comments
Please note: Plasmid contains an 85bp discrepancy downstream of E2 Crimson at the BBa_B0015 Terminator compared to the depositor's provided sequence. This discrepancy is not known to affect plasmid function.
