A portion of this plasmid was derived from a plasmid made byThe pIg vector (which encodes the Fc part of human IgG1)was received by us in 1994 from David L. Simmons. In 1996 he gave us permission to distribute this vector widely. This was cloned into pCDM8 with GlyCAM-1.
