Parent plasmid is pKP1362 in this collection. Please note that some Genbank listings and Snapgene's ORF recognition software may add additional amino acids to the TonB ORF. Postle and Skare, 1988, PMID: 2839513 demonstrated that the first two Met residues of the open reading frame are not translated and that TonB starts with the third ATG codon. The mutations listed above are numbered based on the functional starting codon.
