pAS007
(Plasmid
#164868)
-
PurposeThis plasmid can be used to study DNA looping in vivo. pAS007 contains the phiKO2 cB operator sequences but can be modified to insert any DNA operators of interest.

Depositor Comments
pAS007 is a version of the pLOM2-500 loop-o-meter vector, and contains the phiKO2 cB operator sequences. pAS007 can be used as a positive control for DNA looping, in combination with pID1072, the expression plasmid for phiKO2 cB repressor.
DNA binding sites for any candidate looping proteins of interest can be used to replace the phiKO2 operators in pAS007.
pAS007 is designed to be integrated into a chromosomal lambda attachment site, using the lambda integrase helper plasmid (Addgene # 66076).
