Existing fluorescent protein in plasmid Adggene# 56399 was replaced with mGold.
"C-18" of the name of the plasmid indicates the position of the tag (N- or C-terminal with respect to the fluorescent protein) and the number of residues in the linker between the two proteins. Please note that older versions of SnapGene may annotate the flurophore as "mVenus;" we have confirmed that this plasmid encodes mGold.
