bTat was amplified by PCR from BIV127 provirus and the fragment was subcloned into NcoI-EcoRI-cleaved modified pEFBOS in frame with an N-terminal Myc-epitope tag (pbTat).
BIV Tat contains R10M, P52L, I61V and S65P compared to closest reference sequence (AAA42775.1).
