The following gel shows the NEB 1kb ladder, uncut plasmid, the plasmid cut with BglII and the plasmid cut with EcoRI.
We see the expected pattern with EcoRI (~3.6kb and ~1.6kb).
The BglII enzyme was found to be expired.
