Depositor Comments
The catalytically inactive acetyltransferase mutant GCN5 (Y621A/P622A) (GCN5m) was generated by site-directed mutagenesis and verified by DNA sequencing.
pAdTrack can be recombined with pAdEasy to make adenoviral-GCN5m.
See He et al. http://www.pnas.org/cgi/content/full/95/5/2509 for protocols.
Please note that Addgene quality control sequencing confirmed 2 additional mutations (E189G and K195N) which do not alter the plasmid's function.
These plasmids were created by your colleagues. Please acknowledge the Principal Investigator, cite the article in which the plasmids were described, and include Addgene in the Materials and Methods of your future publications.
