The 800 bp promoter region was cloned by digesting the T2P 2.6 plasmid with KpnI and re-ligating the plasmid with 800bp of the T2P 2.6 still attached to it.
The insert contains a A200T mismatch. This is within a putative CTTTGCAAT CEBP binding site which has not been experimentally validated, and without experimentally validated E2F binding sites.
