lamin A splicing reporter with short-lived GFP downstream LMNA exon 12 (CMV-driven) + SV40-driven dsRed2 to identified transfected cells. C>T mutation in exon 11. The mutation causes aberrant splicing event, creating a mutant protein, delta50 lamin A.
