This gel depicts the NEB 1kb ladder and a digestion of the plasmid with the following enzyme(s): BamHI, SmaI, SmaI+BamHI.

We expected the following band sizes for this digest: BamHI - approx. 1.2kb and 5.6kb; SmaI - no cutting; SmaI+XbaI - linearization (6.8kb). We see the expected pattern.
