Diagnostic digest
This gel depicts the NEB 1kb ladder and a digestion of the plasmid with the following enzymes: BamHI and SmaI.
We expected the following band sizes for this digest: single 12.9kb for each. We see the expected pattern for BamHI. SmaI shows a partial digest with residual uncut DNA.
